Tim spent 10 years trying to get to the remotest coastlines in the north Atlantic and Pacific looking for surf. Along the way he noticed a problem that was getting worse at every place he visited. Searching for the ultimate surfing wilderness in Scotland, Iceland and Canada he knew he had to do something about it.

Heading up a team of professional product designers, engineers and dedicated surfers with more than 20 years on the water. Magnus has extensive experience from designing, developing and manufacturing high tech consumer electronics and sports equipment.

Aoibheann O'Brien / Co-founder and CEO of FoodCloud
FoodCloud is a not-for-profit social enterprise that helps businesses redistribute surplus food to charities. It has secured numerous investments and in 2015 agreed a deal that ensured Tesco’s 146 stores would redistribute surplus food to charities across Ireland.
JC Co-Founder, the Movember Foundation
Justin Coghlan (JC) is one of the four co-founders of the Movember Foundation, a men’s health movement that began in Australia in 2003 and is now a global charity raising money and awareness to fund breakthrough research and support services for men’s health. To date, the Movember campaign has inspired over four and a half million moustaches, raised over €516m in donations and funded over 1,000 programmes in 21 countries.
JC now heads up the Global Innovations team at the Movember Foundation, focusing on long-term, global projects designed to develop the already significant success of the brand, with particular emphasis on how the Movember Foundation can stay as an industry leader whilst keeping their ethos of having fun and doing things in the Movember way.

Two Eyes Film are surf comedy film makers responsible for "The Shaper", "Vanlife" and "Freezing - A Cold Water Surf Trip".
Dorothy Cross / Multimedia Artist
One of Ireland's leading artists, Dorothy Cross is known for dramatic sculptures and installations that often touch on one of our favourite subjects - the sea. She'll be in conversation on Saturday afternoon at Shore Shots.

Born, raised and educated in England – with frequent visits to her father's home of Venice, Italy –Lucia moved to California in 2010. With her roots in the surfing, skateboarding and outdoor adventure world, Lucia focuses on lifestyle and adventure for editorial and advertising clients.
Lucia's work has been internationally recognized and awarded by National Geographic, PDN, Windland Smith Rice International Awards, Black and White photography and the Masters Cup.

Liquid Therapy was created in 2011 to provide one to one support for young people who wanted to experience surfing but where unable to participate in mainstream opportunities.
Each year the foundation has grown and evolved to work with individuals, families, and community groups from across the country and globe.

Quietly pushing the boundaries of hip-hop since 2003, Olan O'Brien's All City records label is known and respected by collectors around the globe for a steady stream of world-class releases. If you're interested in beats, jazz, techno or want to know what makes a niche music label tick then check him out on Sunday afternoon at Shore Shots. He might even bring a few records.
Alan Simms / Founder Shine, Belfast
Alan began DJing as the acid-house phenomenon swept Europe, helping to establish Belfast's burgeoning club scene.In 1993 he set up his first club night, Different Drum and began DJing all round Ireland. Soon the night had outgrown the venue and a change was required. From the ashes of Different Drum sprang the now internationally celebrated Shine, which remains one of the best clubs in Ireland and the UK.
